STRATEGY
Since 2005, a Special Project Department of Kairòs S.p.A. has been established in order to enhance the organizational commitment to EU funded projects. Its mission consists in facilitate the participation of Kairòs S.p.A. in transnational projects at European level co-financed under EU grant schemes. Moreover, the Department assists external bodies, both private and public, providing Project Cycle Management specific skills and knowledge essential for the application of project proposals and the management of project activities.
Kairòs S.p.A. could now count on an effective network at regional level, linking institutional actors and key private organizations, both in the for-profit and in the not-for-profit sector. Main activities carried on by the Department in the field of special projects are: i. to disseminate information about EU policies, programmes and funding opportunities; ii. to stimulate the participation of North-Eastern Italian public and private organization in EU part-financed transnational projects; iii. to offer a full range of consultancy services to support project’s development, management and administration; iv. to participate directly in transnational EU funded projects either as project partner or external expert or subcontractor.

-RURENER project: Network of small RURal communities for ENERgetic-neutrality under the IEE Call for Proposals 2007. -EUMOBILITY-NET project: Networking for the European workers’ mobility applied under the Call for proposals VP/2007/014 in the field of PROGRESS. Promotion of geographic and job to job mobility for workers in the EU – Innovative Projects). Coordinator of the project: Confederación de Empresarios de Aragón CREA, Spain.
-Project Agency for a good territorial government Italy-Balkans promoted by Regione Abruzzo. This project concerns to the enforcement of local organizations and Public Utilities of the Balkans and of their technical skills using Distance Training.
-Project Equal II phase IMMENSO – Social Entrepreneurship, Market and Enterprise Sociality: an experimental project that aims at developing and validating a repeatable model of integration between for-profit and not-for-profit sectors, with a focus on market and sustainability. The model will be based on a network where the role of “mediators” will be of special importance for eliminating obstacles to the integration and facilitating the development of synergies. The project will raise the awareness of corporate social responsibility and will identify new job opportunities for social enterprises in the mixed public goods market, such as environment and culture.
-Project ESF C1 Brainframe: an experimental research upon the best practices in e- learning and distance training in Europe, especially among Small and Medium Enterprises. The project aims at formulating some recommendations for the Veneto Region relating to the use of eLearning in life-long-learning projects.
-Project ESF C1 Community for life-long-learning mediators: this project aims at creating a real practice community for trade unionist of Veneto, in order to share knowledge upon training and financing opportunities.
-Budget Line B3 - 4113: Building pathways out of exclusion among refugees in partnership with Finland e United Kingdom; an experimental project to improve the work and social condition of immigrants and refugees in the European countries involved;
-Project NOW: in this program Kairòs S.p.A. developed two training programs for women in Venice and Padua area. In addition Kairos follows all the monitoring and valuation activities of the project in Italy;
-Project TEMPUS: Open Learning project for university researchers was developed with the partecipation of University of Coimbra, Padova and Bucarest. Kairòs S.p.A. provides the general model for the concrete realization of open learning and part of the training material (1993 - 1994);
-Training for employed people regarding sales, marketing and service quality assurance (1998 - 1999) for HARRYS (Marghera - VE) and TEKNOPOINT (Budapest - Hungary), in Italy (Venice) and in Hungary, Poland, Romania e Czech Republic (1998 - 1999);
-CISPEL EXPORT: project for technical, consulting and training assistance for improving the quality of public services after the emergency of the war period in Kosovo (2000);
-AICCRE: development of a training project in Tirana in Public utilities management of main Albanian Local Public Administrations and consulting for improving the quality of public services in that country (2000 - 2001);
-Certification of the competences in the Small and Medium Enterprises (1998 - 1999 ex L.236 - 96 azioni di sistema 1-a): an experimental project for the development of a general system of certification of competences at work in the small and medium enterprises;
-Project Castalia 1999 - 2000 ex L. 236 – 93: experimental project for the development of a general system for the certification of competences at work in public services;
-Imago Dei Project: recovery and valorisation of the artistic patrimony of the churches in Venice: the project was ideated, promoted and realised by Kairòs S.p.A. in collaboration with Venice Multimedia and some private sponsors. In the field of this project it was possible to restore numerous art works and realise website, pocket guide, CD and publication.
-Projecting Design, architectural building and Job coordinator of “Migliora” Regione Veneto WEB portal for improvement the innovation capabilities of enterprises allocated in Veneto. Quality, Enviroment and innovation (2003);
-Kairòs S.p.A. has developed the project PUNTO GIOVANI (Youth Point): constitution of the network of the Informagiovani points of Veneto, for the Veneto Region. This project, with the “Punto Giovani” website, responds to the job needs of young people and it offers solutions for their employment.
